Andy Goldsworthy inspired artwork

We have been inspired by the creative genius of the British artist Andy Goldsworthy who creates sculptures using only natural materials found in his environment.  We think that by using natural things Andy is able to keep from polluting his surroundings and in fact, is able to enhance his environment.  Most of the artwork he creates is only temporary so Andy makes sure he takes photographs of the work before nature destroys it.  We have been lucky enough to study many of Andy's photos and can see that he is very interested in lines and circles and also enjoys using colour to surprise the viewer.

The great part about creating artworks based on Andy's work is that we can work outdoors and enjoy the early Spring weather!

  1. What beautiful pieces of artwork. it is amazing to see the many different displays each unique in their own way all done from natural products.

    I love the different textures and colours each one has.
