'James and the Giant Peach' has been voted Number 33 in Whitcoull's Kid's Top 50 Books by New Zealand children. This means that a lot of people have read this story.
Roald Dahl is one of the most well-known authors of children's books. He must have had an amazing imagination because he wrote such interesting stories which are so popular with children even today. 'James and the Giant Peach' is having a birthday this year! It is 50 years since it was published which means this story is older than our teacher! (Don't worry, she doesn't mind that we said that!)
