Pania Music

Here are some pictures of us practicing our composition 'Pania of the Reef' in our classroom.

This afternoon we performed our Pania of the Reef composition and sang a song about her during our school assembly.  Some of us were very nervous to perform in front of so many children and the teachers but we did our best.  We are proud of our achievement.  We know our audience enjoyed our music because they clapped loudly when we were done.

Miss B asked us to think about what the Pania of the Reef story teaches us.  Here are our ideas:

The story of Pania teaches us...

- that some people fall in love instantly.

- that people watch us when we are unaware.

- that we cannot always trust the advice we are given.

- that we should always test people before we trust them.

- that some stories include fantasy.

- that some people are so desperate to keep their loved ones close they force them to stay with them.

- that we sometimes need help to solve problems.

- that family ties are strong.
